THE CHARACTER
Orla is powered by Jawly, an education technology platform, not a traditional costumed-character program. Character, technology, an authored story, and live performance work together to create a commander children can see, hear, and follow on an adventure through space.
WHAT'S IN A JAWLY VISIT
Every Cosmos visit is built around the same character and the same purposeful learning journey.
Counting five stars finger by finger, learning what gravity even is, and a graduation quiz that proves they remember all of it.
The eight planets are said out loud twice, with the Sun and Pluto joining the journey until the whole crew can name the sky.
Before anyone touches the galaxy slime, the whole crew learns the rules together: patience first, reward after.
Fly, freeze, dodge, freeze again. The crew stops on command every single time.
Clomp like a moonwalker, float with no gravity, and tiptoe past a sleeping space cat. Real movement opens a whole space station to explore.
Build a spaceship out of pure imagination, then pick your own star. Jumping or spinning, every Starduster gets a choice.
Big movement at the peaks. Calm at the close.
The GLOW-and-GO call-and-response that gets the whole crew shouting back, every single visit.
A real song, "Glow and Go," with the whole crew flying and dancing behind their commander.
Countdown blast-offs, planet stomps and spins, a space station explored one clomp and hop at a time.
Lying back under a real star projector, counting stars until the whole room goes quiet and still.
